A lot of programmer contributes free software / opensource ecosystem while coding with non-free softwares. So, is this a contradiction? Producing Free Software or using Free software? Why compared to proprietary software, free softwares are less used?
There are a lot of developer who doesn't use "free software" or "free tools" supporting communities by developing free software / open source software and these developers using a lot of non-free tools. Is using these tools a "betrayal" to free software philosophy. Developing free software with PHPStorm is a contradiction? Otherwise any non-free tool is fair game in the name of contributing to the ecosystem. We will search answers to these questions and look for the reasons under this contradiction.
This speech will aim to incentive of production. Producing is a different field than using and to produce better tools of production, today we are allowed to use any tool will be defended as an argument. We will discuss what to do in order to rise Free software / open source tool's user expected quality levels.
