Has bachelor's degree in civil engineering and doctorate in geomatics. Currently a lecturer at MEF University. Member of the OpenStreetMap community since 2012. Founding member of Yer Çizenler, and the chair of board since 2018. Also a voting member of Humanitarian Openstreetmap Team (HOT) and associate member of the Openstreetmap Foundation (OSMF).
